With the release of our updated database aDNA 11.4 in the summer of 2024, customers can find out if they have a high match to any of four Cherokee groups, including a famous forensic population sampled by scientists in Cherokee, North Carolina, U.S. Cherokee Enrolled (n = 33).* The other three reference populations are U.S. Cherokee Admixed (n = 62) and U.S. Cherokee Admixed (n=92), from 2016 and 2018, respectively, and, our most recent one, Tsalagiyi Nvdagi (Texas Cherokee n=54). Altogether, your profile is compared to more than 90 indigenous populations in North and South America.
