Asian Canadians are people identifying or identified as Asian sampled in Canada. They make up the largest visible and fastest growing minority group in Canada (15% of the Canadian population). Asian Canadians comprise of Chinese Canadians, Filipino Canadians, South Asian Canadians (e.g, Bangladeshi Canadians, Indian Canadians, Romani Canadians); Southeast Asian (e.g. Vietnamese Canadians); Arab Canadians (e.g. Kuwaiti Canadians); West Asian (e.g. Afghan Canadians, Jewish Canadians, Israeli Canadians, Turkish Canadians); Korean Canadians; and Japanese Canadians
The Asian – Canadian population data represent DNA samples from 195 Asians living in the nation of Canada. Samples were provided by the Centre of Forensic Sciences in Toronto, Ontario.
