Holli Starnes Molnar is Part-Time Research Assistant and Project Administrator for our Cherokee DNA Studies. She has a B.S. in food service management and an A.O.S. in baking and pastry arts from Johnson and Wales University in Charleston, S.C. She works out of Kingston, Tenn.

Teresa Panther-Yates has an M.A. in English from Georgia Southern University. She is Vice President and Communications Officer. Concurrently, she is an Adjunct English Professor at Paradise Valley Community College in Phoenix.

Wendell Paulson is Statistics Consultant, responsible for all database development. Professor Paulson is concurrently Faculty Associate in the Math and Natural Sciences Division of Arizona State University, West Campus, in Phoenix and Adjunct Faculty member in the Math Division at Paradise Valley Community College. He has an M.S. in mathematical statistics from Michigan State University and B.S. in mechanical engineering from Rochester Institute of Technology. Among his distinctions is an American Society for Quality Six Sigma Black Belt.

Phyllis Starnes is Assistant Investigator and Project Administrator for the Melungeon Database and DNA Studies, as well as one of our Forum Moderators at DNACommunities.com. Her DNA Fingerprint test results show her top world population match to be Melungeon. She lives in Harriman, Tenn.

D. J. Thornton, Forum Moderator at DNACommunities.com, has a B.S. in education with a major in leisure services and minor in business management from the University of South Alabama. She is a specialist in Southern U.S. genealogy, Native American records and Internet databases.

Brian Wilkes is Director of Marketing Communications and is based in Kentucky. Our main liaison for Native American DNA testing, he is of Cherokee, Tuscan, and Scots-Irish ancestry, with a degree in art education from Millersville University of Pennsylvania. A prolific writer, he has authored publications in genealogy, Native American studies, and Asian cultural arts and has taught courses on Cherokee, Gaelic, computer security, photography and poetry. His books include: The Space Program Quiz and Fact Book; Genealogy and Heraldry into the 21st Century, and Even Heaven Falls Apart: Cherokee Cosmology from Creation to 2012.

Donald N. Yates, Ph.D. is Principal Investigator, Owner and Founder. He is of Choctaw-Cherokee ancestry and earned an M.A. in English from Duke University and Ph.D. in classical studies from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He has published widely in medieval and American history and Native American studies. His books include The Bear Went over the Mountain, When Scotland Was Jewish, Jews and Muslims in British Colonial America (the last two with Elizabeth C. Hirschman) and Old World Roots of the Cherokee, How DNA, Ancient Alphabets and Religion Explain the Origins of America's Largest Indian Nation.
