Our top of the line report uses extended 37 Y Chromosome Markers for the male line plus sequencing of Hypervariable Regions I and II for your mitochondrial DNA for the most comprehensive genealogy information available. The resulting family history provides you with the most accurate and complete picture of your genealogy possible with the current state of genetics (WorldMatch Technology). You send in a single specimen that is analyzed according to both your mother's and father's gene type. On the male side, you receive a detailed historical report based on worldwide matches in the Y-STR Haplotype Reference Database in Berlin, plus other databases such as Ysearch. On the female side of the family tree, you get an analysis of your maternal ancestor's origin, settlement and migration patterns since the last Ice Age, based on the Mitochondrial DNA Concordance and other resources like the series of studies by Richards and Macaulay. Very Tricky But Worth It

This test was great! You get more for your money and DNA Consulting Fed-exed the samples which arrived in two days. Talk about service!I had plenty of time to give them to my brother for a birthday surprise! I was so glad that my brother qualified for this test so I could do this test as I do not have another living male relative on my father's side. He is getting 'up in years' and I am so glad that I did not wait until it was too late to do this!

Premium Combo is the Way to Go

I am in the medical field and thought I knew something about DNA, but after getting totally confused over which test I should take I called the 800 number. I found out in just a few minutes that the Premium Combo was the test for me, that I could share it with my brother. This is the one that gives you the maximum information. At least as much as the current state of genetics can accomplish at the present time. Maybe other tests will come along in the future but I don’t think so. I recommend this test if you can afford it . . . and if you can’t, get family members to chip in because the results are equally valid for them!
