EurasianDNA uses 320 proprietary markers of DNAPrint®'s discovery called AIMs (Ancestry Informative Markers) to tell you the extent to which you are Northern European, Southeastern European, Middle Eastern and South Asian (Indian). It works the same way as the Whole DNA (which is included in it).

The development of both Whole DNA and EurasianDNA was made possible by the human genome project and innovative research into biogeographical genes at DNAPrint® Genomics, Inc. The test is suitable for any person who is at least 50% Eurasian but less than 40% East Asian and less than a combined 15% sub-Saharan African and 15% Native American (i.e. 30% both added together). If you order the Eurasian test and do not qualify for the Eurasian part of it, you are refunded that amount of the price beyond the Whole DNA testing. Only the EurasianDNA Test probes into the Eurasian part of your family tree to give you a geographical breakdown in percentages of your Caucasian ancestry. (Note, however, that the DNA Fingerprint Test may give you European matches with greater resolution, down to the country level--although not expressed in percentages.)

As with our other tests, you receive a sample collection kit by 2-day courier and send your sample back to our lab in the postage-paid envelop provided. We prepare a personalized evaluation and paper report complete with user's manual and certificate from our partner DNAPrint Genomics.
