This is a very good test to do. I learned some very interesting things about my MTDNA and that it is actually a rare Halotype. I highly recommend getting this done by all the females that feel left out of the DNA projects. Eventually more will be learned this way. It has recently been discovered that the Female X gene is more complex than the Y gene. Scientists have mapped the Female X codes.
