Only the two "outside" lines can be tested with today's sex-chromosome-related technology -- your father's direct male line and your mother's direct female line. You cannot test a line of descent that crosses from a male to a female. However, you may elect to find out your total genetic makeup with autosomal (Ethnotype) testing.
